Ho Hong holds an MFA Degree in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong, where he leverages short films as his artistic medium. His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from experimental short subjects and television dramas to promotional films for advertising and visionary concepts for film festivals. In each of these endeavors, Ho Hong excels at crafting concise narratives that evoke powerful emotional experiences.
Short Film
His short drama "The Journey" (2008) was produced for RTHK Commissioning Programme, and the short narrative "Waiting" was selected as a finalist for the Discovery Award at the Hollywood Film Festival in 2001. In 2012, he directed a romantic suspense film titled "Missing Memories in Hokkaido" (Starring: Joey Yung) for client Itacho Sushi, an inspiring short film "Strive" about a deaf girl pursuing her dream as a dancer for Amway.

To pursue a career in Feature Film-making, Ho Hong wholeheartedly focuses on creating movie scripts.
"Doomsday.Party" won HAF Awards at the Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum in 2013 and was selected for the 'Golden Horse Film Festival' (NETPAC Finalist), 'Dallas International Film Festival' (Best Feature Finalist), and 'Singapore Chinese Film Festival'.

"Lost In Border" was selected in HAF 2015, earning the NAFF Award.
"Gift of Nothing" and "85db" were separately chosen for the Shanghai International Film Festival (2018) and Golden Horse (2020) Film Project Promotion.
Ho Hong is currently producing a new movie titled "The Way We Talk", which explores how deaf individuals discover their true selves and live fulfilling lives.
